It seems that even soaring energy prices and crippling inflation still aren't enough for our politicians to finally begin challenging the climate hysteria rhetoric.
Surely they must realise that when the Australian public finally discover that they have been sold a climate pup, any politician or political party that facilitated the demise of our reliable, low cost energy sector, while ushering in a hopelessly inept renewables sector, will pay the price at the polls for years to come.
The rush towards renewables, and the premature termination of coal fired electricity generation, will almost certainly decimate our manufacturing sector, while putting our economy in a perpetual cycle of inflation akin to the misery of the 70's.
As always Matt, great stuff. But will the clowns running the country pay any attention - not a chance. Every time I see Bowen talking his drivel I wonder where we will end up.
Most Australians are either ignorant of the facts, or, if they do read or hear of criticisms of Net Zero etc they reject them. Arguably they do so because their understanding of these issues is already totally predetermined by our education system and MSM and the obfuscation/avoidance of the vast majority of politicians at all levels.
Europe would be screaming for Oz coal by now; or steady they should. Gas as well except what has not been flogged to our old oaks PRC is trapped by the likes of Kean Et al. No wonder he is after a new seat. Perhaps a new party.. Greens I think
According to Patrick Moore ( one if the founding members of Greenpeace before it was hijacked by Loony Toons brigade) earth is entering a new ice age. Coal is not the problem
